**Marigold glass was made by spraying glass with Iron Oxide directly out of the oven, which left the rainbow color on it.
Then the glass was reheated immediately to permanently "cook" or "melt" the metallic color onto it.
The 3 large Marigold glass producers were Dugan, Imperial, and Jeannette.
Lancaster was in operation from 1908-1937, acquired by Hocking Glass, now Anchor Hocking.
