Jeannette Iris And Herringbone Taper Candlestick Holders Circa Mid 1930s Set Of 2
The candle holders are in awesome vintage condition!
These pieces are around 98 years old, being introduced in 1928!
Jeannette Glass originally made bottles in 1887then transformed in 1889 into housewares, closing their doors finally in 1983.
These candlesticks were popular in the 30s.
The pattern was originally called Iris.
The candle holder stands 5 1/4 inches in height, 6 inches wide across its top, and 4 1/2 inches wide at its base.
Many of the major glass companies put out these double candlesticks at the same time.
It is part of the clear pressed glass collection known as Sandwich Glass, named due to being sandwiched into a mold.
