These glasses are in excellent vintage condition.
They stand 3 1/2 inches and technically holds 9.6 Fluid Ounces to rim and 8 Oz comfortably.
The glass is 3 1/4 inches wide across the rim.
The other size available that was sold was the 16 Oz size.
Hazel Atlas achieved major success in retail with their Sour Cream Jar glasses.
They are a very popular collectable item today!
These glasses came out in the 1960s.
Hazel Atlas sold the business to Brockway in 1964 who continued making the popular Jar Glassware well into the 90s.
Kraft was one of the first companies to come out with this glassware marketing strategy.
A popular term for these glasses today is Swanky Swigs.
It originated all the way back in the 1930s.
It was used for the Kraft cheese spread Jar-Glass Promotion and is by default used to refer to all these crossover glasses today.
